WST system collects the organic matter with 90% or above in purity.
Organic matter, scum and sludge within the wastewater contains a high amount of organic content. They are the excellent raw materials for biogas fermentation.
Organic matter can quickly produce biogas.
The electricity generated from biogas can not only supply the whole plant, but also the surplus can be sold to the power network.
Organic fertilizer
The residue after anaerobic digestion is an excellent raw material for producing organic fertilizer which can be used for gardening and plantation.
Fuel Oil
WST sorts different kinds of plastics from the mixed household waste.
Plastics can be converted into fuel oil through a catalytic pyrolysis process and the residue (carbon black) is also a valuable material for recycling factories.
The fuel oil obtained meets GB252-2000 standard of light diesel.
Fuel oil can be energy substitute in the oil-shortage crisis.
RDF or Incineration for Electricity
Most of the combustible materials have no intrinsic recycling value, such as textile items, shoes , toys, wooden items, composite materials (with aluminum foil), etc. These materials can be used for producing Refuse- Derived- Fuel (RDF) which can be used for co-combustion with coal in power stations, cement factories, etc. Its heat value is as high as coal.
It needs energy to produce RDF and the cost is increased, therefore, we won’t produce it until incineration is forbidden.
Ferrous Metals
Ferrous metals sorted by WST can be sold to recycling factories directly.
Pre-cast Concrete Products
The inert fraction (rocks, glass, ceramics, etc.) which is about 10% of the incoming waste can be landfilled or solidified.
It can be crushed and used for producing pre-cast concrete products , if there is enough fund and supported by the government. The products can be used for the road or handrail.
